So how to determine the size of your helmet?
The best method is always to visit a local store to try for yourself. I have a few tips to check for yourself whether a helmet is too large for you (presuming you won't need any tips if a helmet is too small):
• Put on the helmet and fasten the chin strap securely, then start shaking your head from side to side. You should feel that the helmet moves together with your head movement, where your skin is in contact with the helmet liner and cheek pads all the time. If not, you should get a smaller size.
• Still wearing the helmet, push the helmet from behind, and try to slip a finger in between your forehead and the helmet liner. If you are able to, the helmet is still a bit large. This means there should not be extra space in front your forehead or behind.
• With the helmet chin strap fastened, try to push up the helmet from the chin bar, or use one hand to push up the helmet from behind. You should not be able to lift up the helmet, which means you should not be able to take off your helmet with one hand.
What happen if you can't find a local store?
Well, it is not the end of the world. ScorpionExo® is kind enough to supply a size chart that you can reference before making any online orders. You can measure the circumference around your head temple level above eye brow, then compare with the size chart below:

Helmet cleaning and care
I know I said that these helmets are sturdy and durable. But there are things that you can do to make them last even longer:
• Never use solvent or any abrasive cleaners, which might damage the finish. Use only mild soap and warm water.
• If there is any hard dirt or dust, use damp cloth to soften it first, then wipe them out.
• Over time, the helmet might appear less shiny, you can apply some plastic polishes to maintain its glossiness. But do NOT apply the polish until you've thoroughly cleaned it with soap and water. Unclean dirt and dust might damage the surface.
• The removable liners and cheek pads inside the helmet can be cleaned by washing machine. But beware not to tear out the cheek pads, each should be released by 3 unsnapping 3 buttons.
When it comes to motorcycle helmets, Scorpion is almost unparalleled in the budget price range. It is pretty much the perfect choice for all motorcycle riders.
